These are nice looking deep colored reflector lamps by Yorkville. They are 50 watt R-20 lamps and are made of actual colored glass, not painted. They cast a beautiful glow when lit. They also have nice fit and finish on the glasswork, better looking in my opinion than the current imported colored glass R-20s that can still be bought in some hardware stores (such as Abco-Westinghouse and Feit).
Update 1/27/04: I recently acquired more Yorkville R-20s of Japanese manufacture, with colors in red, green, and blue with the unusual "doorknob" shape.
Note the amber and blue lamps, typical of Japanese manufacture, have the unusual shape that I call the "doorknob":-) The green lamp is of Korean manufacture, thus the difference in bulb shape.
