GE Teardrops on Double Guy Arms

The two lights shown here are large-sized teardrop luminaires that use large, high wattage lamps. These are designed to use incandescent lamps although the actual light source is not 100% known at this time of writing, as they are only observed during the day. Note the slight differences in the shape of the double guy arms, and even the two luminaires themselves have some differences. Most noticable is the slipfitter, both luminaires have different slipfitter designs. It is rare and unusual to see teardrops on double guy arms, most of the time these poles use remote ballasted bug fixtures or cobraheads. The two lights here are actually in a parking lot of an apartment building. Enjoy the pics!

Note the cracked refractor
