Above light is a 175 watt mercury OV-15, in a neighborhood in northern Sacramento, CA.
The Westinghouse OV-15 was the smallest luminaire of the popular Silverliner line. It was introduced in 1965 as the replacement for the OV-12, and remained in production until 1982 when the entire Silverliner line was dropped after Cooper Lighting bought out Westinghouse's streetlight operations. Cooper still makes the OV-15, OV-25, and OV-50 for sale in Canada, however. The OV-50 in the USA is still available and known as the OVL. Some of the later OV-15s were even factory equipped to use high pressure sodium lamps.
