Alan Berlin

Alan Berlin lost his beloved, Marsha in 1989 and is raising his 19 year old, college-student daughter, Sonya. A graduate of Rutgers University, Alan is now the Executive Director of the local Head Start Program, non-profit agency in Ashland, Oregon, where he has been living for 31 years.

He is a member of the American Cancer Society, the National Head Start > Association and Temple Emek Shalom. Alan has devoted his life to helping parents in low-income families to improve the lives of their children.

He spends his days enjoying music, growing flowers, collecting fountain pens, reading, walking and sharing coffee with friends. His long-range plans include working for 10 more years, dancing at his daughter's wedding and spoiling his grandchildren. His e-mail address is aberlin541@charter.net.
