Norma Littles Campbell

Norma Littles Campbell has been married to Marion for nearly forty years (1965). The couple resides in Raeford, North Carolina and has two grown children, Mark (34) who works at Harris Nuclear Plant near New Hill, NC and Vanessa (32) who is a Laboratory Technician studying blood born diseases at the NC Department of Health and Human Services.

The happiest day of Norma’s life? She says there are two. The first is the day Ashlee Nicole was born and the second is the day DeVan Myles was born. If you haven’t guessed, they’re her grandchildren.

Norma, who grew up on Nairn Place, is a Lecturer at Fayetteville State University, the very institution where she earned her BS in Business Administration. She also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Akron. Marion is Shift Manager for Hamilton Beach Proctor Silex and has been recognized for his 25 years of loyal service at the Southern Pines, North Carolina Plant.

Recently awarded the Charles W. Chesnutt Library Faculty Award for Outstanding Support of Library Programs and Instruction at Fayetteville State University, Norma says, “I am most proud of my family. They’re truly nice people who are not only good citizens, but good citizens who give back to the community in which they live.”

Besides her family, Norma “loves” to travel most, an activity she’d like to pursue more actively after she and Marion retire.

“I hope to live as free of illness as possible until retirement,” she concludes. “Then I’d like to travel and volunteer my service to the community.” We wish that for her as well. Norma may be contacted at her e-mail addresses normajeannecampb@aol.com or ncampbell@uncfsu.edu
