Christmas 2003
Dear Zach
We will soon be approaching the second Christmas without you. Our
hearts
are very heavy, I know Christmas was your favorite holiday. Even at
19
years old you kept bugging your Mom for clues to what your presents
were
and where they were hid.
I know it must be very special to celebrate Christmas in Heaven, but
our
lives will never be the same without you. The family chain is broken.
I know you are with us every day and watch over us as our guardian
angel.
Aunt Tracey is expecting a baby this year at Christmas time. You and
God probably knew it before she did. Remember when your Mom went to
see
Concetta and you told her there would be new babies born? If it is a
boy it is going to be named after you. We will certainly tell him(or
her) about their cousin Zach.
After your death, Pop and I don't do much for Christmas. It is not
the
same. We try to put our hearts in it for Luke and Emily and your
cousins. At our Christmas party and other times, we leave an empty
chair for you. I know you are there in spirit and are with us every
day in our hearts.
I miss the "Whats's up Gram"? when the phone rings. I hope to meet you
again some day when God says it is time. I will always love you forever
and you will always be in my heart.
Merry Christmas Zach Gram and Pop
