Now is the time for HCS to show what they learned from the Hesperia Tournament. The free throw shooting and rebounding must greatly increase. HCS needs a minimum of 30 rebounds a night in this tournament. This will require aggressiveness in the paint. Free throw shooting has got to be at least 75% per game if not higher. And the Patriots has to find a way to cut down on turnovers. They are truly atrocious in this category especially in light of their turnover to assist ratio. If HCS can make these improvements and increase their defense so the other team's stars are held under their average, they should win the Valley Christian Christmas Tournament, an HCS first.
