The MLB's second half is heating up.
The trading deadline is tomorrow and new teams are moving into the picture.
It took 18 innings for the Blue Jays to sweep the Angels Thursday night and
move into contention. The Angels woes have helped red hot Oakland climb into
contention for the AL West crown. Meanwhile Atlanta has built a commanding
three game lead in the NL East after sweeping Washington. One more thing,
Houston has now went from under .500 to tied for the wildcard lead and the
Yankees wouldn't even make the playoffs if the season ended today. |
