NKOTB IS BACK

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK ARE BACK! October 9-10, November 11, 25-26, 2008 (Sacramento, San Jose, Kansas City, San Diego, and Los Angeles)
When the tour was announced, I just didn't know what to do with myself. I was just starting a new job, but luckily, my manager was my former friend who also happened to be a new kids fan so I pretty much got the time off for any show I needed. I only missed one California show that first leg of the tour, and that was the Staples center show on 10/08/08. My first show was absolutely fricken amazing, crazy beast that I was friends with went up to Sacramento in hopes of being the first people in line to wait for the box office, and of course she was. Basically, she ended up 1st row center, and I was 3rd row center. I was not complaining. When those men hit the stage, I flipped my shit! I was jumping all over the girl who got my tix' friends and freaking the F out. Watching them together was mind boggling and there still hasn't been a city in which I saw Joey perform Please Don't Go Girl any better. It was genius and I am so glad I videoed most of it. We planned to follow the buses down to the Bay, and attempted to do so, but lost one of the buses on the way. The next day in San Jose, 10/10/08, we ended up in 11th row which wasn't bad. We had a damn good time and rocked out "Property of..." shirts. After the show, we did a caravan to Ihop and started reflecting on the awesomeness that we were living through. The following night they had a show in Vegas that I wanted to attend, but it just wasn't in the budget yet. Sometime in October, word began to spread at how awesome the 5 star package was and it began to sell out. The minute "upgrades" were released, we bought em and booked the nearest flight to where ever it was scheduled to be. On November 11th, we landed in Kansas City, MO for our chance for meet and greet and pre-party. Even though the chick I was with was crazy, I ignored her the best I could and managed to enjoy myself. A couple weeks before our five star, I decided to get a NKOTB related tattoo and once we got to KC, I showed it to Donnie because I know he would appreciate it the most. In the five star, Jordan called me Natasha Bedingfield and I was like "Really!? Well I am gonna take that as a compliment as he eyed me skank attire up and down, haha. The experience was awesome and I knew that I had to do it again! November 25th, Christina and the girls and I took a road trip to So Cal for the last two nights of the first leg of the tour. In San Diego, I ended up 3rd row just off center. Before the show, Donnie came out back for some facetime with the fans so that was pretty sweet. San Diego was the best "Click, Click, Click" pose off ever with Jon Knight grabbing his package. It was incredible! As the show was letting out, it was pouring rain, but we were in a line of cars trying to exit and sure as shit, Jordan fricken Knight was in the passenger seat in the car right next to us. We were like, "omg don't look!" but I couldn't help it and I glanced over and started busting up laughing and Jordan laughed next to us. It was so random, yet so awesome. The plan was to follow Mr. Knight back to LA for the next show, but it was pouring so hard and visibility was poor, so we lost him. Didn't get into LA til about 3 in the morn, and somehow stumbled upon the crew bus at a downtown hotel, but with no New Kids in sight, we headed to West Hollywood and booked the first hotel we could get to because we were exhausted. We started off the morn at Roscoe's and everyone kept saying that the show was sold out and I couldn't find tickets a few times I tried, so i decided that whenever something popped back up on TM, I would get it. When it did pop up, I bought it and that was that. By the time we got to Nokia Theater, I figured I would see what was available and sure as shit, after an hour, I ended up with a 6th row pit ticket and Tina ended up using the first one I bought. Nick and Drew Lachey were in the crowd that night so I met both of them. Joey's Click Click Click pose took the cake that night when he lifted up his shirt. SwOoN. It was an amazing way to end the tour, but I knew it wasn't over yet. We attempted again to follow a New Kid, but instead found Nick Lachey, which was absolutely hilarious! See You Tube for that one. We knew they would tour again so it wasn't all that emotional. Anyways, by the time we got home from LA, it was Thanksgiving and when I walked into my grandparents house, my whole family was like "Ooooh, She's alive" They knew I was tired but my awesome memories from the tour kept me going!
