Bannering Ministry
Just like worship leader leads everyone in worship, we are also apart of leading the church ( like in Isa 62:10 & Isa 13:2) into his holy presents as we worship unto him. Even tho the worship leader & the band are playing & u have your eyes closed & singing with the choir or ensemble. God might what u to look at something that will minister to your spirit. He might want u to look at a specific movement that the bannering group is doing or a specific banner that we are using in one song.
We minister unto God & remind him of the promises that he had made to his people. Sometimes ppl don’t understand y we do things the way we do it. We don’t just pick up a banner to wave it. We pick it up to declare , proclaim Gods words & also spiritual warfare & on top of all that we minister to the body of Christ. There is a lot of meaning in everything we do like the colors ( which u can click on the link to the left to find out what they mean) mean different things & even our dance steps have meaning to them. Everything is used for a purpose like a streamer during one part of a song or just dancing to the beginning of a song or doing a partner dance move with the banners. Like I said it all has a purpose & a reason y we are doing it for.
We don’t just pick the banner colors on our own we ask God to give us the banner colors for the songs that are to be sung on Sunday mornings in worship & also we ask God to give us the colors to wear for Sunday mornings worship. We also ask God to give us the dance steps to the song(s) that each one of us would leading that Sunday Bannering ministry or flag ministry or flag team or bannering team are in a lot of different churches even ACROSS THE WORLD!!!!!! ( IRSAEL , JAPAN ETC!)
