Summary: George Bitternut has a secret called Azazel. Azazel is an imp that can grant any wish, and George takes full advantage of this by trying to help his friends. Unfortunately, Azazel's wish granting has a habit of going astray.

    These short stories positively drip with irony. People get what they want with consequences they don't expect. You can't hehlp but feel sorry for these people who get exactly what they want... only to realize their lives weere much better without it. The moral: If you meet someone named George Bitternut, tell him you're perfectly happy.
