Summary: In this fifth book about Westfield's Men, a viscious rivalry errupts berween Owen Elias and the Sebastian Carrick. Then, Sebastian is found dead in a Clerkenwell alley. While investigating his death, Nick Bracewell stumbles upon a different trail that leads to a plot involving the Queen.

    This isn't really a murder myster, it's more of a mystery in general. While Nick is trying to find the killer, Lawrence becomes smitten with a strange woman, and the fact that she won't even glance at him drives him insane. As usual, it is this side plot that makes the story interesting.
