The Dragon, The Earl, and The Troll
by
Gordon R. Dickson
Genre: Fantasy

Rating: ***1/2

Summary: Jim and Angie have absolutely no intention of going to the Earl of Somerset's for Chirstmas, but the universe conspires against their plans for a nice quiet holiday. Jim has been recruited to solve all the strange goings on that seem to be converging at the Earl's Christmas party. Things become very important, suddenly, when Angie's and Jim's lives are put on the line.

&nbps This is my very favorite book of the series, so far. It's got something to do with the stress and the imaginative ways to handle all the problems. I can appreciate that, and it's nice to watch from afar. As always, the ending is satisfying enough to leave me filled , but wanting more, like fine food.
