Sighting your bow
Sighting in your bow can be very frustrating at times and makes you wonder if you will ever get it right. Before starting to sight your bow it is best to "paper tune" it first. this will make sure your bow is shooting to the best of its ability. This is done by shooting your bow thru paper and checking for poor arrow flight. this will show if your rest or nocking point may need adjusted or if maybe your are getting poor fletching clearance. There are many things to go wrong with a bow but if you paper tune it first sighting may be a lot easier. When you know it is ready and start sighting make sure you start close. many an arrow has been lost due to trying to start sighting in to far away. Shoot your first arrow at the target. it is fairly simple from here just follow the arrow around with your sight. Meaning if you are shooting right move you sight to the right, If you are shooting low move your sight lower. This may seem simple but that is all there is to it. Always remember when you get close to being sighted in to make very small moves with your sight or you will be going back and forth trying to get it right. This is for a non movable sight such as pins or a scope. The movable pendulum sights and some of the other have their own way to sight so if all else fails read the instructions.
