Waiting for a bus

Characters: Jeff the Yuppie, who looks uncannily like Leo DiCaprio
Percy the PE teacher, who looks uncannily like Neil Jenkins
Bob the punk, who looks uncannily like a sheep
A narrator, who looks uncannily like a narrator

Nar: Hello and welcome to the biggest, most exciting part of this already wonderful service. The drama with no expense spared. The title of this masterpiece is (dramatic pause) Waiting For A Bus.

(cheering & clapping)

Nar: Now let's meet the characters. First there's Percy, a PE teacher who looks uncannily like Neil Jenkins. Percy is a nice enough bloke who tries his best without often succeeding. Then there's Jeff the yuppie. He looks uncannily like Leonard DiCaprio with a skin head that is soooo 90s. Jeff is a bit of a poser really and can sometimes be quite horrid.

Bob: Uhhhummmm

Nar: Oh, yeah and there's Bob the punk who looks uncannily like a sheep. Bob is often forgotten and never listened to. We join our story as Jeff is just answering his mobile phone.

Jeff: Hi, Jeff here. In France a can of Coke cost 10F. Do you know how much that is?……Yeah about a pound……no really.

Percy: Wow!!!!!!!

Jeff: We'll have to do lunch sometime…….No sorry tomorrow is Philip Price….yeah the golfer…..No sorry Tuesday is Jamie Spence…..yeah the racing driver….Sorry again, Wednesday is Steve Davis…..yeah the snooker player……Thursday should be fine…..OK…..Cya then. Ciao.

Percy: Are you waiting for the number 4 bus to LlanwiePG?

Jeff: Yep, you?

Percy: Yep

Bob: Excuse me.

Percy: (To Bob) Shut up. (To Jeff) When's it due?

Jeff: Friday 3rd lesson

Bob: Excuse me.

Percy: Shut up

Jeff: Don't be horrible he's not that bad I'm sure. Hi mate.

Percy: (interrupting) Is this the right place to get the bus from?

Jeff: I think so.

Nar: I think at this point I better mention that Percy and Jeff are not too bright. In fact they were standing in the middle of the road. At this point the bus came round the corner.

(Percy & Jeff stand still in fear)

Percy: Ahhhhhhhh!!! It's going to hit us.

Jeff: I know I've done wrong things and not been good but why does that bus have to hit me?

Percy: I've done nothing wrong and it's going to hit me too.

Jeff: Please forgive me!!!

(Bob runs on and pushes Jeff out of the way. Bob and Percy hit by bus)

Jeff: Wow!! That man just saved my life. It most have been because I recognised his presence. I must ring for an ambulance. (Gets out mobile)

Nar: Now there is a serious point to this tragic, tragic story. This is an analogy of what has happened for us. Jeff represents all the Christians in the world who have recognised Jesus and asked for forgiveness. Percy represents the non-Christians of the world and Bob, of course represents Jesus. We are waiting in the middle of the road for judgement day. When it comes if we've recognised Jesus and asked for his forgiveness he will save us as he has already done by sacrificing himself. However if we ignore Jesus we will die. Jesus is willing to save all of us as long as we believe in him and ask for forgiveness. So when it comes to the time which person will you be???
