Title:
Cemetery Man, or Dellamorte, Delamour
Released: 1994
MPAA Rating: R
Director: Michelle Soavi
Cast: Rupert
Everett
Synopsis: This
beautiful Italian masterpiece depicted in the
U.S. as a "cut-em-up" comedy is so much
more then meets the eye. A man, Francesco
Dellamorte comes to find that the dead come back
to life after a short period of burial in his
cemetery. He soon finds that simply killing them
again is much easier then getting the authorities
involved. They would just he was crazy anyways.
The original title was Dellamorte, Delamour,
which translated means Of Death, Of Love.
Obviously much more catchy then the tacky
"Cemetery Man", but what would you
expect from the United States? Francesco falls in
love with the same woman three times, losing her
each, but by the third time he ends up killing
her, he's done with love. If you ever see this
movie, you would be doing yourself a favor by
renting it and seeing it for yourself.
