Now the Shepherd Boy
wanted to do something fun. He did not see a wolf, but he ran towards the village anyway. He shouted, "Wolf! Wolf!" at the top of his voice. |
The villagers heard his cry for help. They quit their work and ran excitedly to the pasture.
When they got to the pasture they found the Shepherd Boy laughing heartily.
