Jiro Shin
Strength 7D
Agility 8C
Intellect 7A
Willpower 9B
Edge: 3
Hand: 5(30)
Calling: World Domination
Hindrance: Overconfident
Personality: Japanese businessman, heads an international research/business firm researching Bio-Ware. He likes his new T-O form and guards its secret zealously, never infecting others, preferring to absorb others. The Technarchy genetic imperative has caused him to
develop a taste for power. He's a trained fighter. He's patient, well-mannered, honorable, but has a bad temper. He plays with his victims, enjoying their confusion and fear.
SKILLS:
Repair, Martial Arts
Computers, Genetics, Biology, Robotics
Martial Arts Weapons
Finance, Leadership, Manipulation
POWERS:
Techno-Organic Virus (Affliction) 15
Limit: Mutants cannot be absorbed by a T-O being. However, they can be infected by the virus.
Stunt: T-O Absorption Boost (+6 to Strength, Agility). The boost lasts for 1+(edge of victim) aura durations. A victim being absorbed is first enveloped by Jiro, then they take 15 damage contingently each exchange (resisted only by Force Fields or Magic Defenses) until they drop to 0 and are absorbed as a contingent action, or they break free with a Strength action vs. his power. Any non-mutant character who has been partly absorbed and has escaped will be infected by the T-O virus (see Bestowing Stunt below). If they victim was mutant, draw a card. If the aura is negative, the character is infected.
Stunt: T-O Absorption Healing (This stunt works the same as T-O Absorption, but the victim's Health is added to Jiro each exchange they take damage). Jiro can also heal himself by absorbing non-sentient, organic material (like plants) or inorganic material.
Stunts: Shapeshifting, Energy Blast, Computer Link, Growth, Shrinking, Elongation
Stunt: Bestowing (Jiro can give the T-O virus to others. They gain all the abilities listed here, but their calling must change to a villainous calling, unless under special circumstances [like having your remains mixed with a benevolent member of the Technarch race]. These special circumstances allow a
Desperate (20) Willpower action vs. the intensity of the T-O Virus to permanently remove the villains impulses. From day to day, a hero can make an Average (8) Willpower action vs. the T-O virus, but this success is temporary. Those who do not escape a villainous calling are subject to Mind Control by the being who infected them. Treat their Willpower as 0 for purposes of resisting the Mind Control.
