Midnight Sun Midnight Sun is a kung-fu master who was raised with Shang-Chi, under the tutelage of Shang-Chi's father, Fu-Manchu. When Shang-Chi rebelled against his father, Midnight Sun (then known as M'Nai) and Shang-Chi battled, ending in the former's death. Later, he was resurrected and augmented by the Kree (who named him Midnight Sun), as a weapon to annihilate the Silver Surfer. Though mute and possessing little memories of his previous life, Midnight Sun respected the Surfer's nobility and the two parted. Later, he rebelled against the Kree scientists and fled to the moon, where, after a brief skirmish with the Surfer again, Midnight Sun accepted asylum with the Inhumans, who took pity of the mute warrior. |
