  These modifications and/or MOD chips are not produced or endorsed by the Sony or Sega Corporations nor any of its affiliates or representatives, therefore they hold no responsibility for the use of these modifications with their products. The primary and sole purpose of MOD Chips is to allow users to play backups and/or foreign copies, typically called imports, of games that they legally own and have purchased through regulated, recognized means. Although this is the chief and singular intended use of the MOD Chips, we are in no way responsible nor liable for any uses of MOD Chips whatsoever. A MOD chip is a micro controller that contains programmed code that is commonly referred to as a MOD Chip, any use reckoned for these chips by the user is in no way affiliated with us nor are we responsible or liable for any use of any MOD Chips.

  To reiterate, any purchaser of MOD Chips assumes all responsibilities for the uses of the chip. MOD Chips are to be used for the foremost and sole reason of allowing users to only play one backup copy of games they legally own and/or foreign games which are legally owned and absolutely nothing more. By purchasing a MOD Chip, the user has assumed all responsibilities of this disclaimer and the purchase will be an indication of his complete understanding of all the contents and terms of the disclaimer and the contents therein.

  It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the MOD Chip does not violate any custom, trade laws or barriers to entry that exist in the destination country. Any law, rule or regulation regarding the import of MOD Chips to the buyer's country is the sole responsibility and liability of the buyer. We assume no responsibility or accountability whereby the MOD Chip is used for any unauthorized or illegal actions both criminally and/or in civil incidents.

  By purchasing a MOD chip, the buyer states that he has read and is familiar with our disclaimer. All purchases reflect the buyer's familiarity with the disclaimer and their clear understanding of what is contained therein. In addition to the disclaimer, MOD Chips are for the sole purpose of allowing individuals to play backup copies and/or imports of games that they legally own. Any other action or process that the MOD Chip is used for is not at all a liability of ours and we are in no way affiliated nor responsible for any uses of the MOD Chip.

  MOD chips are in no way endorsed by the Sony Entertainment Corporation, Sega Corporation or any of their subsidiaries and affiliates.

  We are absolutely not responsible or accountable for any misuse or misconduct that is performed with a MOD Chip. Any unlawful or prohibited actions done with these products are the sole responsibility and liability of the buyer of that chip. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the products meet all the required regulations and is not a violation of any type of law, rule or regulation be it copyright or other. All of these products are subject to upgrades without any prior warning and we are in no way responsible for upgrading these previously purchased products. The industry and regulations are constantly changing and adapting, therefore changes and upgrades to products are inevitable and we have no responsibility to provide previous purchasers with any upgrades.

YOU SHOULD KNOW THE FOLLOWING:
1.  Opening your PlayStation or Dreamcast WILL void your warranty
2.  Installing a Mod Chip WILL void your warranty.
3.  Some older model 100x Playstations are unable to read CD-R media, this is due to the old worn out or
     out of alignment laser inside the unit. Please verify your model before installing a mod-chip.
4.  We are not responsible for ANY damage occurring to your Playstation or Dreamcast as a result of
     installing any chip.
5.  We are not responsible for any changes Sony or Sega may make in the future to alter the functionality
     of a mod chip.
6.  We are not responsible for any copy protection schemes that any company may use to alter the
     functionality of a mod chip.
7.  Incorrectly installing a Mod Chip may result in damage to your Playstation or Dreamcast.
8.  We are not responsible for any physical, mental, monetary or any damages occurring to anything or
     anyone regarding the installation of a Mod chip.
9.  We are not responsible if the chip, Playstation or Dreamcast is damaged from your installation.
10. A Mod Chip is not a product of Sony or Sega Corporation.
11. It is illegal to make backups of games you do not own.
12. Section 117 of the US Copyright Laws § 117. Limitations on exclusive rights: Computer programs not
     withstanding the provisions of section 106, it is NOT an infringement for the owner of a copy of a
     computer program to make or authorize the making of another copy or adaptation of that computer
     program provided: (1) that such a new copy or adaptation is created as an essential step in the
     utilization of the computer program in conjunction with a machine and that it is used in no other
     manner, or (2) that such new copy or adaptation is for archival purposes only and that all archival
     copies are destroyed in the event that continued possession of the computer program should cease to
     be rightful.
