Blood Type: A Height: 160 cm Place of Birth: Tokyo, Japan She started out singing in a group known as the Kuro Buta All-Stars. It is very similar in make up to Morning Musume. It was just a collection of vocal talent mixed with dancing talent. Kaori?s voice was unique in the group in that it was a little huskier than the others. As soon as she graduated high school, she decided to pursue her singing career by joining Every Little Thing. Their debut song as a group was the ending theme song to CDTV, a music countdown program on the TBS network. This was their first step to becoming a mainstream band. Kaori feels uncomfortable giving interviews because she is afraid of her laugh. She feels that her cheeks look strange so she tries to hold in her laughs. She has talked about such things in recent magazine interviews. Also, prior to the Time to Destination summer tour, she would not eat before her concerts. She explained that it helped her get more air and improve her stamina and her sound during her performance. She is influenced by singer/songwriter Alanis Morrisette. Many female fans of hers copy her fashion style. She has been featured on the cover of lots of fashion and music magazines. Seventeen, Nonno, Junon, Cameraman, Ichiban, CDDeta, HotDog, Spa and others have all had lengthy articles written about her involvement with ELT and her clothing/style. She has also been a spokesmodel for many companies such as Sea Breeze, Toyota, and Icebox. Although she is not responsible for writing her own songs, she feels that the songs touch her. He found Kaori when he was looking through demo tapes down at AVEXtrax, the big music company of Japan. His blood type is A. All of ELT have A Blood as far as I know. Nicknames: Iga-chan, Iggy
ELT is such an awesome group! Even though one member left, their music is still as good as ever. I really like their songs, and I am a big fan of groups like this, like Do As Infinity and The Brilliant Green. They have been pretty popular for a while, making their debut a couple of years ago. What I love about their songs is the rock-ish upbeat-ish sound they have! I first heard one of their songs "Rescue Me" on the airplane radio on the way to Tokyo, Japan, and I instantly became a fan. Also, Kaori has such a coooool voice! I know it seems like I love everyone's voice, but her voice is not less. I really like the guitar sounds as well. Pick up any album or single and you won't be disappointed.
