Last night I dreamt I was a warrior andriod class B in a parallel universe. It was an underdog story, I was gorgeous, with long silky black hair and a kickass body and a pretty decent warrior, except all the other androids used to make fun of me because I had no arms and there was something wrong with the texture of the "skin" on my kneecaps. I was the new prototype and hence still in progress when the creator of the android warrior class type B decided or was forced to quit developing androids (edward scissorhands now comes to mind). Anyway the dream was just as detailed as normal: We lived in a large buidling and did our sparring and battle simulations in a concrete basement. For leg armour we dipped our feet in some kind of thing that moulded material skin tight to your feet and then hardened into shoes...but because of my faulty kneecaps it would never solidify above my knees. Actually now that I think about it, the entire thing is sort of like a parrafin wax.

So right after a scene where a particularly evil fellow Android Warrior Class B (but of an earlier prototype hence not so faulty) is making fun of me, the POV changes into an assistant or something for the creator of the android warriors. She feels bad for the poor heroine of the story blah blah blah. And the next scene is of her in a car-type machine (this is a parallel universe remeber) with the assistant and the android going someplace or another. There is a fire up the road though, and they are foorced to abandon thier vehichle (i think the "cars" are auto-move so it drives into the fire). The android now takes this chance to run away and toward the fire to help the people, much to the dismay of of the creator and his assistant. But they are not worried that much since the android has a homing device built into her and they will be able to easily find her later.

The creator and the assistant head back to HQ but on the way they enter a dilapitated toystore/swapshop that looks like it's been ransacked and abandoned. The creator decides to go in and the assistant follows him. As he's searching the place, he walks around like he knows where the stuff he wants is in there and he knows where it is. He finds an old video game system called "Panda" that has a BQr5634 engine in it, and he is happy to find it. As the assistant, I am vaguely aware that that engine can be used to build a working arm system for the newest android so I am excited. I start looking around for arms I can point out to the creator, but when I turn around to talk to him next, he's gone, leaving an open door to another part of the building.

It turns out that the door leads to a house in which the old owner of the toyshop used to live. The professor is going through drawers in an annoyed fashion as if he's looking for something that is no longer there. (probably because the place has been ransacked). I spot a box on the top shelf of a closet and I pull it down and start looking through it...and, lo and behold! Inside are old, worn photographs of the creator and a girl that bears an increadible resemblance to our heroine the underdog android.

The scene then changes to a third person looking on as the professor sees the assistant looking through the photographs. He picks up a photograph of the woman in the pictures and falls to his knees and starts lamenting blah blah.

So anyway, it turns out that the creator lost his wife or somesuch to some horrible accident or another, and he started buildinng the ultimate perfect android in her image to take her place. (he went crazy). He abandoned his home and day-job as a toy fixer and lived at the compound of androids. Unfortunately it took too long and he could no longer remember the details of everything about his wife, and he wanted to build the android as a perfect replica, so when he got to the legs he just couldn't get them right, so he gave up, leaving the android half-complete. As the creator tells the assistant all this, she starts to fall in love with him. How unexpected.

So the creator and the assistant get back to the android HQ and check the homing signals on the android so they can finally build her arms (now that the doctor remembers what his wife is like) and they get no signal. They find out later that the android saved all the peopel in the fire and then went back into the building and let herself burn and the building collapsed on her, because she was so sad about being a misfit android. The end.
