Friday, September 14, 2001 National Day of Mourning. Its amazing how it takes a tragedy like that to unite the people. Every single house on my block has at least one candle. There are about 20 American Flags out too.

"The Thing" didn't happen today because of the rain. Its weird how the terrorist attack wasn't going to stop it but rain did. Also, I realized (and so did my whole family) that I do not know how to cook rice. This kid now calls me "ricetard"...

Saturday, September 8, 2001 Went to my cuzin's Bar Mitzvah. Did you know that you can't listen to music on Saturdays? They told me this in the middle of Linkin Park =( Oh and did you know that you can't draw on Saturdays either? ugh. I was sitting there folding papers for 3 hours straight... Then we went to some restaurant and i talked to a duck and two parakeets. The duck nibbled on my finger... tee hee... wow i'm a loser.

Thursday, August 23, 1:34 AM, Just came back from 98 degrees concert... wow i have never seen that many girls in one place... we had a cool lil poster (not the pathetic kind, with like "i love you marry me" but a really cool one. pic coming up soon =) The concert itself wasnt that great... but after it, we were waiting for a bus, and i kept flashing the poster at all the cars that drove by, and most of them were filled with (beautiful) guys for some reason. all of them stopped to talk hee hee... it was really really cool. oh and echhh dentist today... the stuck pins in me again... ouch... poor kate.
Saturday, August 18, 2001 Came back from camping last nite. 4 nights in a tent... ouch... especially duting a thunderstorm... it was soo scary! but it was really cool. we saw a bunch of deer, a skunk, and a rattlesnake rattled and hissed at us. we went hiking swimming biking more hiking more swimming boating and more swimming.

Today i broke my mom's pinkie toe. well i didnt break it, but i spilled watre and she slipped on it and banged her foot into the wall. now it turned purple and can move in many different directions. i feel soo bad.

Monday, two days after the saturday, 2001 I took my granma out to the movies today. We saw Artificial Intelligence. The first 3/5 of the movie was pretty ok. But the second part was soooo dumb. They had so much crap in there to make the movie longer, and it all didn't make sense together at all (kinda like Barry's Book)

Tuesday July 17, 2001 Its 12:44 AM now. I just returned from Six Flags. Whoa i had fun... Everyhting is spinning. I got a season pass. The only problem is getting there. Thursday, July 5, 2001 Yesterday was the worst 4th of July ever. We could have went out to see the fireworks but i didn't want to go because the people here annoy me. I just stayed in the dorms with a couple of friends. We went online. When the fireworks started we had to sneak out to watch them. We were sitting on the wet grass watching fireworks with a bunch of old people with their grandchildren. It was so depressing.

Friday, June 29, 2001 Today in Chemistry class we made silly putty!!!!! It's soooo cool. We were supposed to make one tiny one, but i made three different colored ones: pinkish-orange, violet and lime green. Hehehe it's so squishy.
Wednesday 27, 2001 So today was the last day of school. Of course i wasn't there because i'm upstate. With all girls. Some aren't bad i guess. Some are really cool and you even forget that you're in an all-girl environment, but then along comes a spider, and the screaming starts. Then the yelling and jumping. The the "Oh no don't kill it," "Oh no, kill it now, its coming near me," "Oh no, don't kill it," until someone brave enough moves it. Today we had math class, and all of it was really boring (we were drawing circles) but then we started doing stuff on topology and Fibonacci, and it really interested me. I think i'd actually want to do this "when i grow up." It's kinda cool.
Monday, June 25, 2001 I'm here at this all girl thing at Marymount College for two weeks. This is gonna be hell. Yesterday, we were playing broken telephone, and the original message was "Susan is wearing a pink sweater." I heard "I have a penis I am a boy." LOL Doesn't that kind of show i'm not meant to be here? oh, and today we were learning how to use Word. Very exciting.
