As most of you know, in Israel it is illegal for Believers to witness to anyone under the age of 18. Doing so supposedly carries a 5 or 7 year jail sentence along with a stiff fine. I think it all falls under the 1977 anti-proselytizing law (allegedly passed on Christmas Day 1977), which is commonly referred to in Israel as the “anti-missionary law”. Anyhow…

Permissible:
It is perfectly legal for others to place 24 hour XXX video machines near Mc D’s, elementary schools, libraries, toy / candy stores, etc. It’s perfectly legal for non-Believers to pedal pornography to children under 18, yet it’s against the law for Believers to share the gospel with the under aged.

Some of you who visited the Holy Land may be saying, “We were in Israel and didn’t see any such things!” Well, you won’t find them on the Via Dolorosa, on the shores of the Galilee, or on the banks of the Jordan.

As Believers living in Israel, we are advised to stay away from children under 18; yet the devil has exclusive rights!

Man, this pornography stuff right next to Mc Donald’s just gets to me! I always wanted to do something about it (and still do) but that would be waging war on another front, a ministry in itself. I’m sure in doing so, I’d be stepping on the toes of certain rabbis, mob bosses, corrupted officials, etc.

Children are very dear to God, and anything dear to Him satan wants to destroy. If you are looking for a challenge, or want a stronghold to tear down…you may want to consider tackling these XXX rated vending machines spewed all over Israel.

Perhaps awareness and bringing this matter to the forefront is a 1st step!
