In the afternoon of March 31st about 20 Dati showed up at Polly’s house. Polly is a widow with 9 children (3 her own, 5 foster, 1 adopted) ranging from 6 months to 20.
Her 20 yr old adopted daughter and her 18 yr old son were not at home at the time of all the commotion, they were off serving in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF), defended their country.
Polly called us, and Lura and I were the first to arrive, next came Yakim and a couple of others.
We found Polly huddled her kitchen with the lights off peaking out her window, her youngest son was in shock, and the 3 Argentinean children who lost their mother to cancer this year and had no place to go, watching a video oblivious to what was going on.
When 2 police finally arrived in a van, they told us that this was a legal demonstration.
Hours later, after it had become dark, the Dati decided to leave and we all went home.
