Subject: All is calm in Israel, praise the Lord

Dear friends and supporters,

Due to the many hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people praying worldwide, evferything is quiet in Arad.  Over 3,000 ultra-Orthodox Jews met in one of the synagogues in Arad to watch and discuss what was advertised as "an unbelievable video of what the missionaries are doing in Arad".  One of the leaders of this demonstration was Rabbi Alex Ortovsky, the leader of the anti-missionary group Yad l'Achim.  These people advocate violence and fund millions of dollars to any Jewish group in Israel who will demonstrate against or attack the believers or anyone that they call "missionaries".  Yad l'Achim is extremely well-funded, mostly by Evangelical Christian groups who send money to Israel or who are allowed to operate freely within Israel--for a price.  They must give a portion of their income to a special fund, which is managed by Yad l'achim

Please, support the believers in Israel.  Do not give money to any organization that has a rabbi attached to it.   Follow the money trail.

The believers say that they had an unusual spiritual calm spirit and that everyone was able to sleep peacefully.  The congregations met as usual, with more than the usual time allotted for prayer.

In the past, the usual pattern has been that such rallies have generated violence two days after the rally.  Tomorrow is market day and the day when the people of the chess club give away free clothing, Bibles and Christian books.  It is the day that people from all over the area come to town.  Tomorrow is also two days following the rally.

Praise the Lord for answered prayers and for this victory.  But do not relax your praying!  We need to see many victories.  The enemy will attack the minute we let our guard down.

The believers and ministries are seeing many victories.  Many are being saved, both Jews and Arabs.  The enemy doesn't like it one bit.  One pastor told me the other day that his congregation has doubled in size in the past few months.  We minister in that congregation often when we go to Israel.

Here in NY we have begun to hold meetings in a new location on Monday evenings.  This new location is in the heart of one of the Russian/Jewish neighborhoods.  Pray that this group will grow and that we will see many of these people come to faith.
