Saints 1 - 1 Crewe Alexandra

The Saints continued their pre-season friendlies with a draw against English First Division team Crewe Alexandra. Manager Pat Dolan took the opportunity to experiment with his team using 8 substitutes during the game.

Ger McCarthy opened the scoring after 20mins firing home from 6 yards after good work from Gavin Doyle on the left wing. St Pat's continued to impress having more the possession and causing Clayton Ince some anxious moments.

However, the equaliser came just before the break with Kenny Lunt firing past Shay Kelly from outside the box.During the scoreless second half Holt and substitute Ciaran Quinn had good chances but failed to beat Ince.

St Pat's now travel to Belfast on Saturday to face Glentoran with a 4pm kick-off.
