Former Saint Patrick's Athletic player, Des Byrne has moved to Cambridge United on loan from Wimbledon. Wimbledon boss Terry Burton is reported to rate Byrne as a good prospect and believes that a spell on loan at Cambridge may be beneficial to the young star's progress to full first team football at Wimbledon.
