On 16 November, 2001 this website, the Independent Saints Supporters' Club website, IS Online, was temporarily removed in support of the Blackout protest organized by IrelandOffline, an independent pressure group working to bring affordable Internet access services to Ireland. The withdrawal of websites is intended to highlight Ireland's growing concern about high access costs and non-availability of services.
