| History: | Sega's spikey blue mascot has been around for jut over ten years and is currently celebrating his tenth aniversary. Apearing in many games(all the Sonic games, obviously!) over the years he allways manages to spoil Robotniks plans. Originally he blew up Robotnik's factory in Sonic1 and then destroyed the Deathegg twice in the saga which spaned over Sonic2,3 and Sonic & Knuckles. In between the deathegg story games of 1992-94 Sonic faced his metal nemisis metalix in an adventure which took him to the Miracle Planet in Sonic CD. During that very same year the blue one also stormed Robotnik's castle in Sonic Spinball. In 1996 he waged war with Robotnik on Flickey's island in his first 3D game Sonic3D. More recently the hog with attitude has thought two more wars with Robotnik on dreamcast in a 128-bit 3D glory in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. |

| History: | Sonic's best friend and trusty sidekick, Tails has been in most games since his debait in Sonic2. His skills have often come in handy(things like flying the by-plane and air-lifting Sonic) but have usually gone forgotten. Tails has allways been a fun character to play as and he is now more independant than ever meaning he doesn't just follow Sonic. |

| History: | Knuckles made his first attention-grabbing debut in Sonic3 in the Angel Island zone, and boy did the spikey blue one have a tough time of it.For once Sonic's spikes were bent out of shape at meeting his match. Shotly after the one-on-one Sonic & Knuckles game made it's release and the red dude returned, but for the first time as a playable character. Even better, the lock on technology in Sonic & Knuckles allowed players to plug in Sonic 2or3 and play those games as Knuckles. Knuckles then went on to appear in Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic3D and Sonic Adventure1 and2. |

| History: | As far as the games go Amy has a small history. Her first apearance was as Sonic's love struck fan who was helpless when Metalix came and held her hostage in Sonic CD. Much later she appeared as a playable character in Sonic Adventure trying to help a "birdie" while fighting of a persuing robot. Most recently she returned to the dreamcast for a role in Sonic Adventure 2, but not as a playable character. |
