So three years later after hard training, the androids arrived as Trunks had said. In three years, Bulma and Vegeta also had their son Trunks. Trunks from the future (now known as Future Trunks) has returned as promised. The first of the androids arrived; they were #19 and #20. All the Z fighters were all ready to fight, when Vegeta stepped up. He turned to Super Saiyan (from all his training), and shot a Big Bang Attack (a technique he learned when Super Saiyan) that instantly killed #19. Everyone then started beating up Dr. Gero and left him dead. But Dr. Gero knew this might happen so he built himself with a self-repair function. He then returned to his lab. | At the lab he releases Android 18 and 17 for now, while he works on a new android. But soon #17 and #18 gets annoyed of Dr. Gero so destroys him for good. They then release another android #16 and go into town to terrorize people. But just before he dies, Dr. Gero programs a command to the new android he has been working on just before he dies. It was too absorb the rebel androids. So #21 or Cell continues to develop after Dr. Gero dies. Soon the androids are spotted, are fought against. But since they're robots, they don't run out of energy. While Saiyans and humans do. So as a result, the Z fighters are able to stand up to the androids but always run out of energy and have to retreat. They are not strong enough, so everyone trains in the room of spirit and time. There everyone increases greatly. Gohan reaches Super Saiyan and Vegeta and Trunks reach Ultra Super Saiyan. Piccolo also fuses with Kami and with Dende taking over Kami's place, allowing three wishes to be granted instead of one. Back at the lab, Cell has finally finished developing and goes out of the lab to the androids. Where he will do as Dr. Gero had ordered him to. On his way to the androids, Cell powered up greatly by absorbing all the people in the city. Cell then meets up with the androids. After Cell has threatened to kill them, #17 goes out to fight. But he is defeated easily, by now #18 is quite scared and doesn't dare to fight Cell, but then #16 flies out to fight. Although #16 was able to stand up against Cell for a long time, in the end he was still thrashed. Cell now did what he came here for, to absorb the androids. First he used his tail and absorbed #17, with his power Cell was able to turn to his second form. When #18 saw this, she tries to escape, but was caught and also absorbed. With #18's power now his, he turned to his third and final form, Perfect Cell. Now in his perfect form Cell left #16. He then issued a challenge to anyone that wishes to kill him, to meet at a battleground the next day. Everyone plans to go, while Bulma is able to repair and reprogram #16 to fight on their side. The next day, all the Z fighters arrived. Including a man named Mr. Satan, he claims he's the most powerful man on the planet. He then tries his luck against Cell but just gets flicked away. Goku then tries to fight Cell. At first it looked like their powers are equal. But when Goku fired a Kamehameha, which took out most of Cell's limb. Cell just grew new ones with his Namek DNA. Goku exhausted and completely drained of his energy, gives up and asks Gohan to fight for him. Gohan did so, but is defeated. Cell notices Gohan hidden emotion power, and plans to unleash it to have a good fight. So Cell instantly created 6 small blue duplicates of himself (one for each Z fighter, except Gohan), called Cell Jr. Cell order them to attack the Z fighters while Cell make sure Gohan can't help, and they do so. At first it seems that the Z fighters could beat the Cell Jr.s, but later they proved much tougher and everyone is getting beat up. Vegeta shoots a huge blast at one of the Cell Jr.s, but it just reflected it at #16. The blast blew him apart, but his head remained unharmed and functional. His head rolls to Mr. Satan, where Mr. Satan did as #16 told him and tossed it beside Gohan. #16 encouraged Gohan and begged him to save everyone. Cell noticing this, thought if he killed #16, Gohan will finally get mad enough. So all of a sudden Cell feet go down on #16 head, which shatters it. Gohan wasn't able to say a thing, until he burst yelled sadly at #16's death. Then a huge amount of energy goes to Gohan, which transforms him into Super Saiyan 2 for the first time. Cell then knows he over done it. Gohan still crying for the lost of #16, attacks and kills all the Cell Jr. with an attack each. He then attacks Cell. Cell is kicked around and not able to do anything. He also spits out #18 after a while and turns back into form 2. Cell knew he couldn't beat Gohan, so he went into self-destruct mode and was going to blow up. Goku then quickly teleported to King Kai's planet, where Cell self-destructed. Thus killing Goku, King Kai, Bubbles and Gregory. Everyone mourns the lost of Goku, but then celebrate for defeating Cell. But then a fireball flies straight through Trunks killing him. Cell then appears and laughs that he was the one that killed Trunks. He also explained that when he exploded, one brain cell managed to survive. From that brain Cell was able to rebuild himself entirely. Also because Cell had Saiyan DNA in him, when he came back he was in Perfect Form, even without #18. Vegeta enraged at the loss of Trunks attacks Cell. But he was no match for Cell, and got beaten. Just as Cell was going to kill Vegeta, Gohan (still in Super Saiyan 2) takes it for Vegeta. But that left one of Gohan's arm broken and crippled. Gohan still wanted to fight Cell though and does so. But having only one arm has a problem and isn't able to overpower Cell. So Gohan shots a Kamehameha (with only one hand) and Cell also shoots a Kamehameha (remember he has the DNA of almost all the Z fighters). Gohan and Cell's blasts are equal and no one is winning. Even with Tien, Yamcha and Vegeta distracting Cell. Goku then uses King Kai's telepath ability to talk to Gohan and encourage him. Gohan then is able to overwhelm Cell and kill him. In the end, Z fighters collect the dragonballs and wish everyone killed by Cell to be revived. But Goku was already wished back to life, so remains dead. Mr. Satan then lies that he was the one that killed Cell, so got all the credit. Then there is a short flashback of Goku's life. are shown. | |||
