The saga starts right after Krillin is killed by a henchmen of the evil namek, Piccolo Daimoa. Goku then chases after the henchmen, Tamboutine, and kills him. Goku then eventually also kills the other two henchmen of Piccolo Daimoa, Timbal and Drum. Yajirobe helps defeat (and eat) Timbal, while Tien helps in defeating Drum. | Piccolo Daimoa then finally meets the person that killed all his henchmen, Goku. After a long hard battle Piccolo Daimoa comes out victorious. Piccolo Daimoa then calls the dragon and wishes for his youth back. But right after Piccolo Daimoa got his wish, he destroyed Shenlong to ensure no one else would get a wish. Master Roshi then tries use a special tenique to trap Piccolo, but gets killed in the attempt, with Chao-su also getting killed. After meeting Yajirobe, Goku follows him to Korrin Tower and gets to drink sacred water. Drinking the sacred water would raise your power level greatly, but there always was a chance that it would kill you. Luckily, when Goku drank the water he didn't die and got much stronger. Meanwhile, Tien fights Piccolo Daimoa and tries to use the same technique Master Roshi used but failed. Tien was about to get killed when Goku arrived. Goku and Piccolo fight again for a very long time. In the end Goku flies right through Piccolo Daimoa killing him. But right before he dies, Piccolo spits out an egg containing his son. His son's name is Piccolo and his supposed to avenge his father's death. Goku wants to revive Krillin, Master Roshi and Chao-su, but Shenlong was killed. So Goku travels to the protector of the earth, Kami, for he's the one that created the dragon. Kami agrees and revives the dragon. Goku wishes that everyone killed by Piccolo to be revived, but Goku must stay and train with Kami for 3 years (for helping Goku by reviving the dragon). After the three years Goku enters the tournament. The first matches were: Tao Pai Pai vs. Tien (Tien wins), Yamcha vs. Kami (Kami wins), Krillin vs. Piccolo (Piccolo wins), and Goku vs. Chi-Chi (Goku wins). During the fight against Chi-Chi, Goku agreed to marry Chi-Chi, because he did promise when he was little (at that time he thought marrige was food). The semi-final matches were Goku vs. Tien (Goku wins) and Piccolo vs. Kami (Piccolo wins). The two finalist are Piccolo and Goku, and after a long battle Goku wins. Goku then marries Chi-Chi as promised. | |||
