Dr. Gero and Dr. Myu team up and create an android named Artificial 17. But since they're in hell, they somehow make a portal much bring them to earth. Artificial 17 finds #17 and fuses with him and become Super 17. But then Dr. Myu turns on Dr. Gero and tells Super 17 to kill him, which he does. Meanwhile, Goten, Trunks and Ubuu are blowing up Saibamen. Vegeta also gets to kill Nappa again. But when the go against Super 17, they are all beaten easily. Goku isn't there to help because he was tricked into going to hell to stop Freeza and Cell from taking it over. Goku was unable to escape hell, so Piccolo purposely makes trouble to be sent to hell. Piccolo then does a Namek ability to open portals with Dende. Goku escapes to earth again and straight away goes to Super 17. Goku finds all his friend down and fights 17. He powered up all the way to Super Saiyan 4, but still defeat Super 17 because he keeps on absorbing all of Goku's attacks. #18 then come and save Goku from being killed. Super 17 then killed Dr. Myu, and went back to charging an energy ball to Goku. But then #18 distracts Super 17, which gives Goku enough time to kill him with a dragon punch (Ryuken). The punch kills Super 17. | Everyone then gathers the dragonballs to wish everyone killed by Super 17 to be revived. They notice they're cracked, but think it's nothing. When they summon Shenlong, he appears but is now evil. It turns out that the dragonballs have cracked because of negative wishes. Shenlong then splits into 7 different dragons and start destroying the city. Each dragon was of a element and could be weakened. Whenever one of the dragons died its dragonball would be restored. Goku and Pan then fly off to kill the dragons. The first one they found was Ryan-Shenlong of water pollution. It got tricked into swimming in clean water, which weakened it and was killed. Then they found Uu-Shenlong of electricity. It got weakened by rain and then killed. Ryuu-Shenlong of wind was the next dragon. His weakness was the head, so Goku attacks it there which killed it. Pan then suddenly got trapped in Chi-Shenlong's body. Luckily Goku rescues her and kills it. Goku and Pan ran into Suu-Shenlong. It challenged Goku to a match and Goku accepted. But then San-Shenlong comes and lunges at Goku. Goku dodges it and kills it. Goku then continues the match against Suu-Shenlong. But then the match is interrupted again by li-Shenlong, which kills Suu-Shenlong. After a long battle, Goku was able to defeat li-Shenlong in Super Saiyan 4 stage. But the dragon was still alive and defeats Pan and steals all the dragonballs they have restored so far. Li-Shenlong then fused with the dragonballs and gets much stronger. Goku tries to defeat it again, but fails. Bulma had created a brute ray; it allowed Vegeta to turn Super Saiyan 4 as well. So as Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta joined the battle. But they were still losing, so they fused into Gozita. Gozita is much stronger than li-Shenlong and is able to make li-Shenlong to spit out the balls it fused with. But fusion only lasts for 30 minutes so it weared off before they can kill li-Shenlong. Li-Shenlong then absorbs the dragonballs again. Vegeta wants to fuse again, but Goku is too weak to turn Super Saiyan 4. Goku decides to make a Spirit Bomb while Vegeta stalls li-Shenlong. The bomb is created and it kills li-Shenlong. The balls are also all restored. But then Shenlong appears again and says that it will not grant anymore wishes, because of all the trouble it caused. Goku begged for one more wish, though, which was to revive all the people killed during the dragon fights. Shenlong grants it and tells Goku to get on his back. Goku does so and the dragonballs get absorbed into him. Shenlong and Goku then disappear. While everyone is preparing a huge feast when Goku returns. Only Pan and Vegeta knows that Goku will not be returning. It is now 100 years later and Goku Jr. (Pan's grandson) and Vegeta Jr. (one of Vegeta's descendants) are about to fight each other in the Tenkaichi Budokai Tournament. They both turn Super Saiyan and fight. Pan, who is in the audience, notices Goku in the end of the arena also watching.
