It starts with all the Z characters over a dead Goku, then it zooms ahead in time. Gohan and Trunks are now the only fighters left. Two androids, #17 and #18 killed everyone else. Gohan is in constant battle with them and almost always loses. But each time he loses he gets stronger because he's a saiyan. | One day Trunks asks Gohan to train him so he can help. Gohan knowing Trunks is a saiyan agrees and they train hard. Then after training for a long time, Gohan and Trunks goes to challenge #18 and #17. #18 and #17 are at an amusement park fooling around. Gohan challenges #17 and they fight. Trunks is told to let Gohan fight alone. Gohan id actually winning, but then #18 arrives off a merry-go-round. Trunks tries to stop her, but is much too weak. Gohan then faces both #17 and #18. He is beaten after a valiant fight. But he also lost an arm after blocking a blast meant for Trunks. The two androids leave with Trunks unconscious and Gohan half-dead. Gohan reaches in his Senzu bag for his two Senzu beans, but only finds one. He gives it to Trunks and passes out. Trunks wakes up and bring Gohan to Bulma for healing. Gohan had been healing for several months now, all the while Trunks has been training. Gohan finally is able to walk properly again and immediately goes out to fight the androids. Trunks tries to stop Gohan, for he is still weak, but Gohan knocks Trunks out and heads out to fight. Trunks then finds Gohan face down in a puddle, he goes over to him and realizes he is dead. Trunks cries for the lost of Gohan and turns Super Saiyan. As Super Saiyan Trunks tries to fight the androids again, but is defeated and rescued by Bulma. Bulma tells Trunks that the time machine is ready to use. So trunks uses it and travel back in time. | |||
