Paul Gamino's Parlor Rollers

Below Left: Paul Gamino at age eight holding my first Parlor Tumbler Rolling Type that cost me a whopping $7.50 for that self black Parlor Roller.  I tried to buy the parents of this bird off of Bud Steel in 1968 with money saved up from my allowance.  I offered Mr. Steel $75.00 for the parents and he turned me down.  This was due to the fact that Parlor Rollers were hard to come by in the late 60's and early 70's.  However, in 1972 I bought out Bud Steels entire stud of Parlor Rollers.

Second photo to your right: Alton Davis and Rodney Burrell look on as Paul Gamino is getting ready to roll at Lancaster CA  (March 2004) where Paul Gamino had two Parlor Rollers roll over 300 feet .  The first 300 footer of the day established a New World Record of 381' 9" (116. 36 Meters) breaking the old World Record set by another Parlor Rollers bred by Paul Gamino at the N.P.A. Grand National in Birmingham AL of 320' 7".  A second Parlor Roller at the March 2004 roll-off also bred by Paul Gamino broke 300 feet.  This was done with a little grizzle tort hen with white flights rolling 322' 7".  If that wasn't enough!  There were also two other Parlors bred by Paul Gamino that rolled 428' 2" and believe it or not! 662 feet 1 inch performance (201. 8 Meters SEE Results ).
