Paul Gamino's Parlor Rollers
Photo taken by John Mossbacker after winning the Pageant of Pigeons Parlor Roller competition November 1981. I'm holding my young light grizzle hen band number 947, which I later named "Priceless" for becoming the first Parlor Roller to break one-hundred feet and set a New World Record in the process at 128' 10" (39 Meters). A World Record that stood for five-years and a Pageant of Pigeons record that stood for 19 years.
The "New" Light of my loft broke the above record at the very same show this time being held in San Bernardino California on November 15, 2001. Band number 08 an Almond hen that goes by the name "Betty" is the first Parlor Roller to break two-hundred feet at
204' 2" (62 Meters).
