In Tintin in America Tintin almost died many times but survived. In which of these times
do you think he was the luckiest to make it?Wrong gas 3% (Pg. 12-13) The crooks thought they had given Tintin nock out gas when they threw him into Lake Michigan
to die. But they had given him sleeping gas and cold water woke Tintin up saving his life. Ledge 7% (Pg. 23) Tintin ran off the side of a canyon, but luck was with him. He landed on a ledge instead of
falling to his doom. Finding a cave 0% (Pg. 25) Instead of being trapped on that ledge and sooner or later dying, Tintin and Snowy found a
gave there - a way to get out of there. Finding oil 3% (Pg.)Bobby Smiles and the Indians blocked Tintin's way out of the cave with a big rock so he would die in
there. But when he was digging around in there he hit oil which shot the big rock aside and
pushed him out of the cave. Hanging rope kept snapping 26% (Pg. 36-37) Everyone thought Tintin had robbed a bank so a lynch tried to hang him and Snowy, but the
rope snapped twice and Tintin got away. Train doesn't run him over 19% (Pg. 41) Bobby Smiles tied Tintin to the railway tracks but the train that was supposed to run him over
was stopped by a lady member of the American Association of Animal Admirers because she saw
a puma attacking a deer. The train was only feet from Tintin and he called help and they cut him free. Meat grinder stops 23% (Pg. 53) Maurice pushed a button when Tintin and Snowy were leaning on the railing over a big meat grinder
which made the railing drop sending them falling into the machine. But it stopped because the
workers just started a strike. Wooden dumbbells 15% (Pg. 59) Two criminals clamped a heavy, heavy dumbbell to Tintin's leg and threw him into Lake Michigan to
drown him. But it turned out the dumbbells were fake and made of wood because the real ones got
switched with the fake ones of the phony 'strongest man in the world's fake dumbbells.
