I know it's been forever since I wrote the last part, but I didn't recieve any reply to it until the other week, so I didn't think that anyone wanted to hear anymore. I like feed back. Dragon7778@aol.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hotaru's Heart Part 3 Draven Manara Somone please tell me what it is between me and my mind. I still haven't figured it out. I'm my own best friend and worst enemy. As you can tell I'm leading into another fight with myself. 'You're lucky you can cook.' 'For once I agree, it's one of the few things that I'm good at.' 'So what's for dinner?' 'Food.' 'Well, duh. What kind of food?' 'Aren't you intelligent. Look.' Two filet minion steaks, one for each of us, two salads, two wine glasses of Sprite (I don't drink), and baked potatoe on the side. If I say so myself, which I obviously do, it looks good. I only pray she's not a vegetarian. Earlier, I had gotten my parents out of the house by suggesting that they go to dinner and a LATE movie.I didn't want them coming home in the middle of my date. They agreed, with a knowing smile on my father's face. My younger sister, Shara is spending the night at her friend's house. My older brother, Yoshii, goes to college in the United States, so I don't have to worry about him. It's 7:oo. She said she'd be here around seven. I bet you can tell that I'm very nervous. I didn't go and pick her up because I needed to make sure nothing was ruined. Doorbell. 'Don't fall, she'll think you're a fool.' 'If I need you're help tonight, I'll ask. In case you forgot, I'm the romatic, you're the logical P.O.S. that always ruins my dates.' 'Alright I'll be quiet and see how you do.' 'Thank you.' And with that out of the way, I opened the door and standing before me was the most gorgeous site my eyes had ever beheld. Her raven colored hair was combed down straight. Her black dress fit her body like a glove. And her face looked so beautiful. She was like an angel, a magnificent angel that had come to take me away. Had that been the case I would have gone without a second thought. She wore no make-up, which made her seem all the more breathtaking. She turned to wave to her father, a seemingly very young man with blonde hair. He drove of in his yellow sports car at about 5o miles an hour. "Hi. Come on in." "Thank you." Even her voice was surreal. "This way madam." I did my impression of a waiter at a fancy restraunt. She laughed a sweet little laugh. "Thank you kind sir." I then took her hand and led her to the candle lit dining room complete with romantic music. I know it's corny and cliched, but I've found that girls still love it. Not to mention I enjoy it as well. "I shall be back with your meal in a moment, madam." I bowed politely as a waiter does and took off toward the kitchen. I first brought in the salads and the Sprite. "Oooo..." was the response I got as I set it down in front of her, I then came back in with the steak and rest of the meal. I recieved an even bigger "OOoooo..." I then sat down and we began t eat in a comfortable silence, just enjoying the music, the company, and the moment. Suddenly an idea popped into my head. I stood up next to her and said, "May I have this dance?" She smiled. "You may." The next song, Micheal Peterson's "From Here to Eternity," came on and we embraced and started in a slow circle, held tightly together. At the second verse I started to sing into her ear. Well, I saved a year for this ring and I can't wait to see how it looks on your hand. I'll give you everything that one woman needs from a one woman man. I'll be strong I'll be tender. Man of my word. And I will be yours. We pulled each other closer and she began to sing with me. It sounded so beautiful, That I thought that I was in a dream. From here to eternity, I'm asking you to share your life with me. Now and forever I guarantee I'll always stay by your side. I promise my love to you. I willing and able and ready to. Whatever you need, I am here for you and I'll always be, from here to eternity. As the song ended we kissed, not a hard forceful one, but a soft pleasent one, all the more full of passion than any kiss ever in the world. When we broke our kiss, she laid her head against my chest and we just sat there, holding each other, for three more songs. When I looked back down at her she was sleeping. What a peaceful and delicate angel she was. I felt like the luckiest man in the world just to have her near me. "I better get you home." I whispered. I carried her outside into the warm autumn night and set her down in the car. I started the engine and thanked Kenji for finding a way to keep the engine quiet as it started. I drove her to her house, which I fnally realized was a mansion, picked her up and carried her to the door. I then knocked lightly. As her sister opened the door, I quickly told her to please not wake her. She smiled and motioned for me to come inside. "I'll show you where her room is." She said quietly. As I followed her up the stairs of the mansion, I noticed that she had green hair. I figured that she had dyed it, and although it was a strange color, it fit her. "In here." She opened the door and let me go inside. I laid her down on the bed and pulled the cover over her. I then kissed her lightly on the forehead and whispered a 'good night,' then I crept out of the room. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry, but I got stuck and felt like leaving you hanging a little bit. I hope you liked it. The part in the middle goes the best if you are actually listening to the song. Thank you for reading and you'll hear from me again if I get a positive reponse or two.
