Profile: Artemis was a French immigrant living in the Bronx who seized leadership opportunity when the former head of a sizeable gang there was killed by Brooklyn rivals. She has a very cold, almost emotionless exterior, and will harm or kill when needed without remorse. Despite being intelligent, well read (especially in mythology), and beautiful, she suffers from severe depression and low esteem, kept in check only by her relationships to her brother and boyfriend Daemon.
