Updates are delicious. After about two weeks of trudging through the Hell hole known as Commodore 64, I have reached the letter S. Actually, the C64 isn't all that bad. It's actually probably one of my favorite systems so far. I've seen almost everyone I know from the secret boards, and Dawn has a bunch of boards there. I saw an old friend of mine I haven't seen since like.. 2001. But due to the sheer size of it, I've been forced to usually hunt from anywhere between 2 AM to 10 AM to reduce lag. Lag seems to really have it in for me these days. I thought for awhile it was just GameFAQs, but I think it's because of my post count. Although that doesn't make much cents, seeing as how I don't really have all that many posts compared to some people. ¬_¬

Yeah, I'm only on letter C, but he's been pretty much on every board. I never liked him very much. Maybe it's because his posts always sound arrogant and uninspired. Maybe it's because he used to flood topics, and got the last one with my first account. Maybe it's because whenever he sees I've created a new topic on a board, he creates one too, so no one will respond to mine because he's more well-known.

I finally got sick of slowly wading through the Atari 2600 and just punched it. Today I did letters Q-Z. I move on to Atari 8-Bit tomorrow.

*sigh*

It's times like these when I wish I'd been a board hunter back in 2001. Back when Atari 2600 was the single greatest system to hunt. Not when it was infested with those damn M14 REAL topics and other little annoying things. Hard to believe it was Scum's favorite system nowadays. There's still traces of its glory, but I know its wonder years have faded. I was with Medea for awhile on the hunt, which was nice. She's always been one of my favorite hunters. She seems much more real than a lot of us.

Did Atari 8-bit. Nice to go through a little system again. Nothing really worth mentioning except maybe that Deathjester topic where he links toother topics to complete a sentence. I've found all of 'em but the first one. If anybody knows where the topic "You" by Deathjester is, I'd be a very happy panda indeed if you could tell me. Oh, and Smed's old board, Salmon Run was on there. And I suppose there was that has-been faction, Zaxxon. The one that used to have a CJayC topic. Yeah, that one. Off to 7200!

Finished off 7800. Nice little system, that. It had a Jowy topic which is always nice. And of course, it houses my favorite secret board on all of GameFAQs, Starmy's board. And there's also that spiffed skating social board. Atari 5200, Apple II and finally, 3DO. Then I'll have finished the entire journey!

I finished 3DO earlier today. That was the worst system ever. So boring! Well, anyway, you know what that means. I HAVE COMPLETED THE ENTIRE BACKWARDS JOURNEY!!!

What a trip! 3½ months of board hunting can really change someone. I feel I've grown a little wiser and funnier. But I'm saddened that hardly anyone knows who I am. Oh, well. That's all.. for now.
