Everyone knows Central time is superior and much easier to follow. I think this would save everyone a lot of trouble since new users change their personal timezones over to central anyway, and those who are to lazy to do this or forget won't have to worry about it anymore or be ridiculed by their peers.

Destructo: Since you posted that seconds after April Fool's day ended on Central time I'm going to assume that was a joke.

Signed, I think this would be a great idea. There's no reason anyone should need to display the time in anything but central, so all of the other options are just wasting space.

Anti what? Anti abortion? Anti Terri Schiavo? Anti this topic? You'll have to be more specific if you want me to take you seriously.

It's a petition. Just because it doesn't have the word "petition" in it doesn't make it any less of a petition.

What. I never have used Central Time, and I'm not sure if I ever will. I actually use Eastern, thank you very much. Does that make me stupid?

Just because I use CST doesn't make it the ruler of all time zones. This is a bad petition.

What am I supposed to do, internet kick him? It's not my fault the only people on this board right now are anti-Central time. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions I guess.

I think something needs to be clarified here. An anti-sign means that you're against the petition, as in you disagree with it. Feel free to make any adjustments to previous posts as necessary.

I'm GMT+8, but that doesn't change the fact that central time makes more sense. Actually, let's make a petition to change the time into Discordian time. Break free from the Gregorian chains!

Oh, I disagree with it. Especially this statement:
Everyone knows Central time is superior and much easier to follow.
Since I live in Pacific Time, it's much easier for me to follow that, not central.

Well I live in Eastern time, but Central makes more sense for me. It really amazes me how some people have to be against something just because it's popular and convenient.

Why would CST be superior to anything? This is the World Wide Web. As such, people shoud be able to use the time zone they're most comfortable with.

The Central Time Zone is in the world, you know. That puts it inside the domain of the world wide web, which means people are free to use it with the comfort and ease that only comes with Central Time.

I'm not going against it because it's popular and convienent. I'm going against it because it would just make things difficult for me since I am used to Pacific Time. Why would I want Pacific time on everything around me, and then Central time only on GFAQs?....

You wouldn't. Change everything around you to central time, and problem solved. I think you'll find it will improve both the quality and quantity of life.
