| one time i played this crane game and i got the doll but the crane didn't pick it up :-( what was wrong with it, the machine said win any prize, i put it kinda on the dolls head and press drop, but when it went to pick up is acted as it was greese and never gripped it :-( --- Anyone with less than 40 karma is wrong-Me CANADIANS DO NOT EXIST!-Ricker 04 |

| Wildwood NJ has cranes that are rediculous now. First of all they're all a dollar. Second, there's cd jewel cases with a bouncy ball suction cupped to the face, and you have to grab the bouncy ball with the claw to win somethin like an x-box. but the best part is: either the claw doesn't go down far enough to grab the tiny ball, or it doesn't clasp shut enough. | wow I can hardly believe this topic is still alive yet somehow...I just had a feeling it would be! Well I haven't posted here in nearly a year. I don't even use the same account anymore (I was Kamil haha) anyways this topic definitely cannot die. I recently haven't played any crane games, but I definitely would love too! And I still gotta give props to the play till you win candy crane haha man I miss those days of BSing around at Walmart, but for some reason they close at 11pm now here!! No more late night crane game playing or pick up hockey games in the sports department. I'll miss that! | well now you have a goal in life! To win at the crane game! That way you can come here and post about what you won. One of my most favorite things I own I won in the crane game hehe it's a plush Philadelphia Flyers goalie mask. Living near Buffalo, you don't find stuff like that and if you do it's all Sabres. When I saw that in the crane game, that was it...nothing else mattered, but winning it. Actually I remember the first time I saw it, it was too far near the side glass, so I couldn't grab it with the crane at all. I was really pissed, but I went back there another day and it was a little more near the center, so I messed around with it and well after like four tries I got it :) --- All your stupid ideals you got your head in the clouds - You should see how it feels with your feet on the ground |

| while luck may play a small factor, it more or less calls for some strategy and thinking (seriously lol when I was kid I thought it was all luck haha) first before you put money in you have to take a look at the stuff in there and see what might be winnable, (for example there was this HUGE "world champ" ape in there one time. Obviously you wouldn't go for that. I did once for laughs and the crane just bounced off it *laughs*) after you figure that out you have to inspect those items more closely looking to see if there is a string attached or like a loop on it or something that you can snag or if you can grab the item under it's arms (if it has them lol) or just see if it would be possible to get the claw to do a clean grab getting right underneath it. lol that was pretty complicated for a crane game, but I won crap that I didn't really want but b/c I noticed it was winnable I took a couple tries and got it lol *thinks of stupid crap he won* two gumby dolls, two mini stuffed boxing gloves, a "queen of hearts" doll and a New York Rangers bear :) Might be a few other things, oh yea I also won a Buffalo Sabres plush hockey puck hehehe --- All your stupid ideals you got your head in the clouds - You should see how it feels with your feet on the ground |

| The first thing you have to realize is that they make the crane games hard on purpose and it's just a scheme for them to get some easy money. They aren't expecting many people to win but they are expecting you to keep spending money trying and it works pretty well for them too, some people are even addicted to them. Sometimes they put stuffed animals in those things that are waaaaaaaaay to heavy for the crane to lift and it's so obvious, I guess they do it because some people are stupid enough to try for it. I only go for the ones that I think are possible and I've gotten quite a few things from those, if the crane is to weak though it's almost impossible to get anything at all. |
