Bouros beach is located in the south of the island of Evia about a twenty minutes drive southeast of the town of Karystos. It is a small beach which is about 150 meters long and it consists of sand with small pebbles.
On Bouros beach is the beautiful statue of the centaur and the nymph.
On a hill next to Bouros beach is a large dilapidated complex of what was once a large hotel with a number of bungalows. It is now completely abandoned and has collapsed.
Right next to Bouros beach is another similar beach. Along the coast there are some houses, but there is not a real village with facilities here. For accommodations and restaurants you have to look more towards the direction of Karystos.
During the high season there are probably umbrellas and beach chairs for rent, but not while we were there (May 2017).
