In the south of the island, about 10 kilometers away from Antiparos Town, in the cozy village of Agios Georgios, you can find the Dolphin Apartments. It is a small complex with 7 apartments that are divided over three buildings. The apartments offer space for 2 to 5 people depending on the apartment. All apartments have a kitchen, airconditioning, bathroom, umbrella's, parking, and they all have a seaview. Agios Georgios has a beautiful large sandbeach on which you can sometimes find the rare beachlily. On the other side of the village there are coves with many other small beaches where you can find a beach of your own. Opposite Agios Georgios you can see two islands of which Despotiko is the largest. In the distance you can see several other islands including Folegandros, Sifnos and Sikinos. On Despotiko island excavations have taken place and an ancient sanctuary has been found. From Agios Georgios there are boattrips to this uninhabited island of Despotiko. The village of Agios Georgios offers peace and quiet and there are a couple of very nice beachfront taverna's. There is as good as no traffic, and the beach leading into the water is shallow, so a perfect and safe place for small children as well. All the studios at Dolphins have verandas with marvelous sea view, kitchen, w/c with shower, a/c, satellite t/v (with channels like "Discovery" etc), iron, safe box (key comes with the doorkey), one umbrella - chairs - beach towels and trailer, to carry them to the beach. You can use the washing machine as well. There is an A class house keeping, a parking, a play ground and a coffee bar. There is transfer from or to the Antiparos port. Dolphin Apartments can help you to rent a car at a very good price or can organize your trips around the islands. If you let Magda know the airport that you will arrive, she will help you to arrive in the hotel or at Paros port the best way. The hotel is next to the golden beach of St Giorgio, with clear blue sea. In our transitional veranda you can take home made breakfast or lunch, coffee and drinks.

In the room are complimentary sweets and a small bottle of ouzo, water and shampoos and shower cream as well as plenty of towels and bath slippers! The rooms are cleaned every day and look like new when you get back from your day out. Magda and the small staff at Dolphins Apartments will pamper you. She organized a boat trip with the Sargos 1 (captain Marianos) for us to the sea caves of Antiparos and the ancient archaic santuary on the deserted island of Despotiko, where we could also choose a private beach to spend a couple of hours on. A truly memmorable experience. There were only 4 people on the island that day including us. If you are looking for something really quiet at a good price, still want the opportunity to make coffee in the coffee machine in the room, tea with the kettle, or a simple meal in the kitchen, without bothering about the breakfast (real coffee and a good breakfast is served here!) than Dolphin is what you are looking for. It's just the birds and the sea that you hear and who knows maybe a dolphin ;)!! There are a couple of large(r) beaches within easy walking distance and plenty of more private coves where you can sunbathe and swim without your bathing clothes if you prefer that.

Although there is a transfer service (Magda and her big black van) Dolpins Apartments is easy to find for people that want to get there on their own. As you drive over the hill and get your first glance of the village of Agios Georgios and the opposite island of Despotiko, you can see it laying at left side of the village. You take the first (unpaved) road on your left side and drive all the way down. There is a sign. It's at the left side of the road almost entirely at the edge of the small village. You are ensured to have a quiet and peaceful time with no noise from cars or disco's (there aren't any to be found). There are 4 taverna's in the village (2009) serving good food. We especially liked Zombos. Breakfast is served at the Dolphins Apartments and it is large, with coffee or tea, cake, bread, fresh orange juice, eggs, ham & cheese, marmalades and Greek yoghurt with honey. Magda will absolutely spoil you and the service is very good.
