Vari Beach in the south of Syros is a small family beach with a couple of taverna's and a hotel, protected from most of the winds. The next door neighbour beach is Katergaki, which is even more quiet and where there are no real facilities. In between these two there's a nice coastline and some rocks that are used for nude sunbathing. If you head left (towards the east) when you are on Vari Beach and follow the signs you will end up in Fabrico Beach. This is a small and quiet beach with some umbrellas and sunbeds for rent. It is named after a factory that was once standing here. From the beach there is a view over a small uninhabited island that is called Aspro ("White").
