Fokia beach is located in the southeast of the island of Karpathos, a little south of the village of Amoopi. It is a quiet pebble beach where you can rent a small amount of parasols (there are about 12 of them) and sunbeds. There is not much shade to be found on the beach in other places. The coast in the sea for Fokia beach consists of pebbles and flat rocks and the water is greenish blue in color. The beach is surrounded by cliffs. In general, the water of the sea is fairly quiet. There is a very small harbor with a few fishing boats.

Fokia beach can be reached over a paved road that ends in a parking lot and from there you walk to the beach via a path. There are not that many other facilities at the beach, but at a short distance walk is the small-scale Fokia Beach Studios (with 14 studios) where you can rent a studio. For more amenities you can walk to the coastal village of Amoopi.
