Grigoria has about 400 inhabitants. The village lies at a 420 meters altitude at the foot of the Psiloriti mountains and the village overlooks the Messara plain and the sea. In the village itself there is a medium sized church consisting of one aisle which is surrounded by a large elevated square with beautiful vistas.
There is a mini market and there are a couple of kafenions. More facilities can be found in Magarikari and the small town of Timbaki, which is at a 5 kilometers distance.
Grigoria is located in a very green environment and many of the residents lead a traditional existence. They live off agriculture or olive cultivation. There are also many sheep kept in this area.
