This holiday house is in Soros, about 400m from the beach, with wonderful views towards Paros, Naxos and Ios. It is 100m2 with a garden of 2300 m2. The house is suitable for a family or for a group of friends. There are 3 bedrooms for 5 people and the price is absolutely reasonable compared to some of the outrageous prices you will find if you want to rent a house in the Cyclades (100 euro a day in June and Juli and 150 euro a day in August). Soros beach is the best beach on Antiparos, with two great tavernas. It is only 1 km to Apantima and the restaurant Still Waters. St Georgios with its wonderful tavernas is 1 km in the other direction. On Soros Beach there is also a part where there is room for the naturists. It is a very quiet place with no noise from bars etcetera. Amenities like supermarkets and an ATM machine you find in Antiparos Town. Although Antiparos is not such a very large island I recommend to rent a car or a bike when you stay in Soros. People stay here to get a piece of the authentic unspoilt island life. This is one of my favorite accommodations in Crete and in fact in all of Greece: intimate, not expensive and with privacy, yet you are in the good hands of the owner Arianne, who is so nice that you would come back just to see her. Actually we go to this place every year just to see each other again and to set our minds back to zero at the beautiful pool. It is a place for peace and quiet and for people who enjoy hiking. On this spot in the west of Crete something really special has been created. Various facilities are located near the Kastania Lodge, and yet there is virtually no traffic. There are beautiful views over the bay of Kissamos Kastelli and the accommodation is fantastic, one of my absolute favorites that I can recommend to anyone.
The Kastania Lodge consists of a house, an apartement and studio that share a wonderful pool. This is a super nice and quiet little accommodation to which we love to return to every year. Kastania Lodge has the next offer for the month of May for bookings of a week.

Spiros Soula rents all kinds of studios and apartments with one or two bedrooms. They are quite spacious. All of them have a balcony or terrace facing the sea and actually have one the back as well (the gallery) with a nice view of the mountains and a couple of houses. It's very quiet in terms of traffic (almost nothing). A nice place we think, especialy early or late in the season, with a hospitable and friendly family (two brothers and father and mother) running the accommodation. Everything you need is here (supermarket, restaurant, swimming pool) so if you feel like relaxing much do you just stay here, have a swim and eat something in the restaurant. Spiros Soula is an apartment complex in the village Ligaria (sometimes called Lygaria). This village is about 30 minutes / 20 km drive from the airport of Heraklion (but not in the flight path, so no problems with noise). It's a nice place to start your holiday or end it, so don't have to overstay in busy Heraklion, but instead spend the first or last days in a relaxed place. But it is also nice for a longer holiday, or for a stop if you travel from the west side of the island to the east (or vice versa).

Giakoumina, the lady that runs the apartments and studios turned out to be a real sweetheart, and such an honestly nice person, and the studio she had reserved for us had the "wauw-factor". It was so tastefully and personally decorated that it felt like a home, and we loved our large balcony with privacy, that overlooked the Bay of Sapsila. The perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning or an ouzo in the evening. There was a nice kitchen with all the things that you could possibly need, the beds were top, and there was a large bathroom with a good hot shower and plenty of towels. For this year I have a new traditional house with stones for two or three persons and the price for this is between 80 euro and 130 euro per day depending on the dates. Mathio's Studios are a special place on a special island. Patmos is one of the islands with the most beautiful vistas of all the Greek islands and here you find the most friendly and hospitable people of the whole of Greece. Mathio's Studios is beautifully decorated, inexpensive and very comfortable. It is situated in a quiet bay and it has a secret beach in front of the accommodation.
