Ipios is a village just above the north side of the Gulf of Geras. In the village there is a large church wit a tall bell tower, which is almost blocked out of view because of all the cables in front of it. The church is on a square with a large beautiful tree on it. There are many tavernas and it's quite busy with traffic in this lively village. The houses are painted in friendly pastel colours. Just outside the village of Ipios there is an ols building with a high chimney, which is probably and old ouzo factory.
