Kalogria is a nice beach in the west of the island of Skyros. Kalogria is situated just north of the beach of Kyra Panagia and it overlooks the church of Kyra Panagia and the small flat island of Kotsles. Usually the sea is pretty quiet here. There are no facilities like sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach but in high season there is a tavern, the Taverna Grill & Cafe Kalogria, where you can eat or drink something. Both Kalogria beach and Kyra Panagia beach are situated in a bay that protects them from the wind in case it comes from the north.
